Forged over many years and captured in 2020, LiVa Verde brings together the distinct talents of Liza Nelyubina and Ivan Provalov. As the duo’s sole instrumentalist, Ivan crafts the bluesy, electronic landscapes that define their sound. This provides the perfect stage for Liza’s vocals; her background in choral performance gives her singing a refined resonance and presence that is both bright and powerful. Together, they co-write music that feels both modern and deeply rooted, a signature style explored throughout their album Open up the Sky.
